I have the same problem!I am using the Lenovo Thinkpad T430.After upgrading from windows 7 to windows 10, the sound enhancements tab is gone! The main problem is that this option is not working fine on Windows 10 so it has been removed automatically. The only way to have the sound enhancements back is removing the updated sound driver and install the old one from the Lenovo hompage. However, the sound enhancements will work for a short time only. ClickOK.Now restart the computer and install the latest drivers and check if the issue still persists.Step 2:If the issue still persists, reinstall the latest drivers from the manufacturer’s website and check. What is the make and model of the sound card or the laptop? Please get back with the issue status. Click onProperties.e.Ĭlick onDriver Tab.f. ExpandSound, Video and Game Controllers in the Device Manager Window.c. Type inDevice Manager in the Start Screen.
Hi,I have check on a Windows 10 computer and was able to see and work with the sound enhancements. If you are not able to see the same then it could be because the sound card installed on the computer do not have the ability for displaying sound enhancements or the sound card drivers are corrupt.Step 1:You may try uninstalling and re-installing the sound card drivers from device manager anda. At this point, there should be an enhancements tab at the top which contains the setting for Virtual Surround, it should look like this: However, there is none, and the only related tab is one called 'Sound Blaster' which contains a checkbox called 'Disable Enhancements'. Select my speakers from the playback tab. If the Enhancements tab is not compatible with this audio and the sound card being Realtek HD Audio. Enhancements Tab Missing in Realtek HD Audio? This is what my Speaker Properties window looks like:I have, however, seen screenshots from other people who have the tab in their window.
